This outstanding single barrel from Penelope has landed ahead of schedule (this never happens, but we'll take it) — and it’s ready to ship from our Sydney warehouse right now.

If you’ve had Penelope’s Toasted Bourbon before, you’ll know the series is all about showcasing how different barrel char levels influence flavour. After full maturation in charred new American oak barrels, Penelope Bourbon is finished in a new, hand-toasted barrel — adding additional deep notes of vanilla and complexity to the Penelope signature profile.

Typically, these are bottled at 100 proof (50% ABV), but this private barrel has been bottled at natural cask strength: 114 proof (57% ABV).
