Who We Are
Whiskey Hunt Australia (WHA) is a place for all Aussie whiskey fans to learn, share, and experience all things bourbon & whiskey. We’re not professional critics — just a passionate group of enthusiasts who believe bourbon deserves to be celebrated properly.
Since launching in 2019, WHA has been on a mission:
- Hunting down the best barrels from world-famous distilleries and craft producers.
- Bringing unique whiskey experiences to Australia through events and tastings.
- Giving bourbon fans access to single barrel releases that were once only a dream to find here.
Our Single Barrel Program
The heartbeat of WHA is our single barrel program. Over the years, we’ve released more than 30 exclusive single barrel picks, covering both bourbon and rye. These hand-selected barrels are true one-of-a-kind releases, shipped directly from the U.S. and bottled exclusively for Australia.
We’ve proudly partnered with some of the biggest names in whiskey, including:
Old Forester, 1792, E.H. Taylor, Woodford Reserve, High West, WhistlePig, Eagle Rare, STAGG, Elijah Craig, Willett, Wilderness Trail, Barrell Craft Spirits — and dozens more.

No more middlemen. Just great whiskey, straight from us to you. The legends over at The Whisky List will be handling our shipping and logistics, this is purely for economies of scale, meaning we can pass on the best shipping rates by leveraging their warehouse and Aust Post rates.
